| Already as a young boy I was interested in the aviation. The variety of plane types, the rapid technical progress and the prospect to roam far and away,
to fly over clouds, mountains and valleys were endlessly fascinating to me even then.
At the age of 19 I went to the flying school and qualified as a licensed private pilot in 1966. Later I bought the first airplane, a Beech 23, together with two colleagues. With this machine I made many interesting flights across Europe. Besides my occupation as a lawyer I laid the foundations for my present career as a professional pilot in the nineties: 1997 licensed as professional pilot, 1998 diploma as flying instructor, 1999 diploma as aerobatics instructor, 2002 expert on the board of examiners. By now an experienced flying instructor, I am involved with great enthusiasm for a sound education of the pilots-to-be, focusing on the aspect of accident prevention. Flying has taken up today the same importance as my profession as a lawyer. |
